1. Our Commitment

LinkDaddy Build is committed to ensuring that linkdaddybuild.com is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability. We actively work to increase the accessibility and usability of our website and in doing so adhere to many of the available standards and guidelines.

We believe that the web should be available to everyone, and we are committed to providing a website that is accessible to people with disabilities, including those who use assistive technologies such as screen readers, voice recognition software, or alternative input devices.

2. Conformance Status

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. WCAG defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.

Current status: Partially conformant. Some parts of the content do not fully conform to the WCAG 2.1 AA standard. We are actively working to address known issues and improve conformance across all pages.

3. Technical Specifications

Accessibility of this website relies on the following technologies to work with the particular combination of web browser and any assistive technologies or plugins installed on your computer:

  • HTML5
  • CSS3 / Tailwind CSS
  • JavaScript (React 19)
  • WAI-ARIA 1.2 (where applicable)

These technologies are relied upon for conformance with the accessibility standards used.

Implemented accessibility features include:

  • Skip to main content link on all pages (visible on keyboard focus).
  • Semantic HTML structure with appropriate heading hierarchy.
  • Descriptive alt text on all meaningful images.
  • Sufficient colour contrast ratios on primary text and interactive elements.
  • Keyboard navigable interactive elements with visible focus indicators.
  • ARIA labels on icon-only buttons and navigation landmarks.
  • Responsive design that adapts to all screen sizes and zoom levels up to 200%.
  • No content that flashes more than three times per second.

4. Known Limitations

Despite our best efforts to ensure accessibility, there may be some limitations. Below is a description of known limitations and potential workarounds:

  • Some dynamically generated niche pages may have incomplete ARIA landmark regions. We are working to improve this.
  • Certain third-party embedded content (e.g. maps, video embeds) may not fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards. We recommend using the third-party provider's own accessibility features.
  • Complex data tables on some pages may not have full header associations. This is being addressed in ongoing development.

If you experience any accessibility barrier not listed above, please contact us so we can address it.
